THE MASTER’S MESSAGE
Brethren:
Fraternal greetings to all my Brothers of Lancaster Lodge 104 F&AM, as the summer’s heat is closing in around us our thoughts turn to that of spending time with our families and friends, vacationing, visiting, etc…. My Brothers, I hope you can find the time to come and fellowship with your Brothers in Freemasonry here at Lancaster Lodge 104. I hope to see you soon.
On the 4th of this month we will celebrate our countries birthday. Some will watch firework displays and others may grill out with family and friends. No matter what you do on this day, please take the time to think back upon our Brother General Washington. He had friends and Brothers from France and the German state of Prussia come to his side and help construct an army that would defeat the greatest world power of that time. That friendship and Brotherly Love that we share as Freemasons, knows no bounds and is as vigilant as the symbolic torch of the Statue of Liberty.
Brothers, remember that our freedoms were won by men who pledged their lives to assure that Freedom would live in this great county. From that day until this, our armed forces have fought to preserve the greatest county the world has ever known. God Bless those who have given us these wonderful freedoms.
Fraternally thine,
Johnny Yates

FREEMASONS IN HISTORY
Marquis de Lafayette
This month we celebrate the birthday of our country. After declaring our independence, General George Washington organized our armies to win that freedom. The Marquis de Lafayette disobeyed his King when he left France to stand along side his Friend and Brother General Washington to fight for the great cause of True Liberty.
“Humanity has won its battle. Liberty now has a country.”
